It’s that time once again when Hubie Sounds hits the interweb airwaves and this week we’ve got plenty of fresh new tuna to keep you entertained, plus an excellent guest mix from a very talented pair of breakbeateers, Lunar Shift! Ian Radcliffe and Dan Hicks aka Lunar Shift first met 10 years ago. Realising they shared a passion for dance music, they DJ’d and promoted their own breaks nights in the East Anglia region. They began making breaks in 2006, with initial releases on their own imprint, 192K Records. Continuing to push their sound with other labels together with support from Annie Nightingale on Radio One and Jay Cunning on Kiss FM, they are looking forward to a busy year of releases……

In terms of what they are up to, the duo have a few local gigs coming up, but they are mostly in the studio, working on new releases. Ian and Dan had a release on Ego Shot last month and this week Supatronix had a release of which they did a remix. Coming up for the rest of the year, the lads have two more remixes on Ego Shot and their own material out on Definition, Bass Reflections, Supatronix, Big Square and Electrofly.

Many apologies for the no-show on Saturday night. I got home from a day out to discover my internets weren't playing ball. Not to worry, cos assuming my internet behaves itself, I will hopefully be back on air, complete with the Lunar Shift guest mix as promised, in two weeks time on the 11th of July
