Hey kids!

It’s time for another edition of Hubie Sounds and, like last time, we’ll be high-kicking back in time to a classic era once more. This week we’ll be trading our oversized hip hop pocketwatches and skiploads of bling for velour flairs, svelt afros and more soul than at your local fish and chippy! That’s right, this week we’re gonna be presenting the Hubie Sounds Funk and Soul Special!

We’ll be spinning some absolute classics by the likes of Bootsy Collins, Kool & The Gang, Al Green, The Jimmy Castor Bunch and of course the godfather of soul himself, Mr James Brown.

But regular listeners and fans of more uptempo grooves, fear not! In the second half of the show we will also be spinning the usual share of fresh new tuna by Jack Beats, Dub Pistols, NAPT, Splitloop, General MIDI and many more.
